Door: Mark Kampers- Het was woensdagavond korte tijd onrustig in het centrum van Zoetermeer na de verloren halve finale van Nederland op het EK. Daarbij werden agenten belaagd.

Volgens de politie werden agenten aangevallen door een groep onruststokers. Eén van hen gooide een stoel naar een agent, die daarbij lichtgewond raakte. Een ander gooide met glas naar agenten. Die is aangehouden. De parate eenheid kwam eraan te pas om de rust weer terug te laten keren op het plein.

Ook op de Markt waar gezamenlijk werd gekeken naar de voetbalwedstrijd was het korte tijd onrustig. De organisatie betreurt dit maar zegt in een reactie aan ZFM: ‘de gezelligheid voerde gelukkig de boventoon.’

Een bezoeker zegt tegen ZFM: ‘Bij de entree op de Markt werd een jongen geslagen door meerdere uit een groep. Daarna heb ik hem geholpen omdat hij onder het bloed zat.’
