Er is de laatste tijd veel te doen rondom de fietspaden en wegen In Meerzicht. Fietsers klagen over sneeën en beschadigingen in het wegdek, wat de veiligheid in gevaar brengt. Vooral voor mensen met minder stabiele fietsen of verminderde mobiliteit kan dit een serieus risico vormen, vooral ’s avonds en ’s nachts.

Bewoners en het CDA roepen de gemeente op tot actie. Er wordt gepleit voor meer planmatig onderhoud aan de fietspaden en wegen. Zodat gevaarlijke situaties kunnen worden voorkomen. Recent is er een ongeluk gebeurd aan het Kerkenbos.
