De bioscoopstoel krijgt een make-over. Waar Pathé Ypenburg al langer publiek trekt met royale fauteuils, schuift nu ook Kinepolis Zoetermeer een tandje op in comfort. De vestiging aan het Oostwaarts heeft zijn zalen voorzien van de zogenoemde Cosy Seats.

De naam zegt het al: breder, zachter, meer ruimte. Geen gekrioel meer met ellebogen of benen die klem zitten. De stoelen, bekend van Kinepolis in The Mall of the Netherlands, nodigen uit tot onderuitzakken nog voor de film is begonnen.

De upgrade komt na eerdere investeringen in beeld en geluid. Het doek werd scherper, het geluid meeslepender – nu is het zitcomfort aan de beurt. Zoetermeer krijgt daarmee een bioscoopervaring die zich kan meten met de concurrentie in de regio.

En wie benieuwd is hoe dat voelt, hoeft niet diep in de buidel te tasten. Van 4 tot en met 10 september zijn de Cosy Seats zonder toeslag uit te proberen. Een filmavond waarbij niet alleen de blockbuster, maar ook de stoel een hoofdrol speelt.
