Woensdag 10 september zal het wekelijkse lunchpauzeconcert in de Oude Kerk (Dorpstraat 59) van Zoetermeer worden verzorgd door Debora Berghuijs (sopraan )

en Tamir Chasson – vleugel. Op het programma staan werken van o.a Charles Gounod ,Reynaldo Hahn ,Gabriel Fauré ,Reynaldo Hahn en Sergej Rachmaninoff .

Sopraan Debora Berghuijs is een gepassioneerde liedzangeres en verhalenverteller en heeft recitals gegeven in zowel binnen- als buitenland. Ze studeerde aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium en de Guildhall School of Music and Drama te London. In het opera-repertoire zong Debora de titelrol in Offenbach’s “Die Schöne Helena” in theater Die Pasinger Fabrik in München, Duitsland. In 2019 creëerde en vertolke ze De Passie van Arianne, een rapsodische kameropera met werken van Massenet, Marcello en Haydn, in de eerste productie van OperaNL. Verder was ze te horen als ensemble lid in de productie Carmina Burana van operagroep The Fat Lady in Haarlem.

Tamir Chasson is dirigent, componist, pianist, zangcoach, en mentor van jonge zangers en musici. Als dirigent was Tamir een aantal jaren verbonden aan de Israeli Opera, waar hij ook artistiek leider van de Opera Studio was. Hij treedt op in Israël, Europa en de VS. Tamir is afgestudeerd aan het Curtis Institute of Music (Philadelphia, VS) en ontving als eerste de Gary Bertini Award for Young Conductors.

In Nederland richtte Tamir Operagroep & Atelier The Fat Lady op en is sinds de oprichting in 2014 de artistiek leider met een visie.

Dit concert is gratis toegankelijk. Bij de uitgang staat een collectebus voor uw vrijwillige bijdrage. De deur van de kerkzaal is open vanaf 12:30 uur.
