De gemeente Zoetermeer roept inwoners, organisaties en culturele liefhebbers op om nominaties in te sturen voor de Kunst- & Cultuurprijs 2025 en de Stimuleringsprijs. Met deze prijzen erkent de stad bijzondere bijdragen aan het culturele leven en zet ze makers en initiatieven in de spotlights.

De Kunst- & Cultuurprijs is bedoeld voor personen, groepen of projecten die zich in 2025 op een vernieuwende of inspirerende manier hebben onderscheiden op het gebied van kunst en cultuur. De Stimuleringsprijs richt zich op jong talent of nieuwe initiatieven die de culturele sector van Zoetermeer verder helpen ontwikkelen.

Nominaties kunnen tot 15 december worden ingestuurd via e-mail. Een deskundige jury beoordeelt alle inzendingen zorgvuldig en maakt eind januari de genomineerden bekend. De prijsuitreiking vindt plaats op woensdag 25 februari bij CKC&partners in Zoetermeer. Meer informatie volgt begin februari.

In voorgaande jaren werden onder andere Scylla Theaterproducties, Stichting Korensound en Luigi Zuliani onderscheiden voor hun bijzondere bijdragen aan het culturele landschap van Zoetermeer. Ook andere talenten en initiatieven, zoals het Ebony Ensemble en Harpe Davids, ontvingen eerder waardering voor hun werk.

Door mee te doen kunnen inwoners bijdragen aan het zichtbaar maken van creativiteit en cultuur in hun stad.
